Where is the Circuit?

The Reading and Silchester Circuit lies at the extreme north-eastern corner of the Southampton District. Reading is the largest town in the Circuit. Several large suburbs are gathered round the periphery of the town - Caversham to the north, Woodley to the east, Lower Earley to the southeast and Tilehurst to the west.
To the south and west are the small village churches, Bradfield, Burnt Hill, Silchester and Three Mile Cross, and in Tadley, Mortimer and Burghfield Common those that serve larger and growing communities.
Relations with other churches in our area are generally very good. Many of the churches have strong ecumenical links locally. Also, a characteristic feature is for each of the suburban communities to have its own Churches Together body as well as the Churches Together in Reading and the County bodies in both Berkshire and Hampshire. The Circuit also has an active role in "Fourward" , a group which is made up of representatives from our circuit, together with the neighbouring Andover, Basingstoke and Newbury & Hungerford circuits.
